I have recently completed the necessary qualification to install electrical energy storage systems - better known as house batteries, and I am now offering the following storage battery solutions:
Givenergy
myenergi Libbi
Powervault
All are manufactured in the UK.
These allow you to store electricity when rates are cheapest, or to store excess solar generation, and then use it during peak times when it is most expensive. This accomplishes two things - it saves you money on your bills, and it contributes towards the suppliers and grid being able to manage peak loads using less carbon-intensive generation. Paired with a smart meter from a renewable electricity supplier such as Octopus, the more sophisticated batteries can optimise to take best advantage of agile tariffs.
Batteries are also useful if you haven't got a solar array - for example, if you live in a flat, or your property is shaded or facing north.
So you can save a bit of money on your electricity bills and help suppliers make the best use of renewable electricity. It's a win-win! Contact me to discuss!
As a special incentive, if you are willing to be my first customer with any of these batteries, I will discount my labour charges steeply and sell the batteries to you at my discounted trade price.
The GivEnergy domestic battery range can be found here. They are now shipping a range of powerful, low cost commercial 3-phase batteries as well as products for domestic use. GivEnergy also manufacture a range of devices like inverters for solar arrays and smart sockets. If you are interested, please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Myenergi products work together, and the myenergi app provides you with a single view of all of your devices. You can monitor an existing solar array, control your EV charging, and now also store electricity with a Libbi.
Powervault have teamed up with Octopus to deliver optimised battery storage that will provide energy savings with or without a solar array, taking advantage of Octopus's best agile tariffs.
